Just up the hill on Holyhead Road, at the site of what is now the Greyhound Roundabout. The Greyhound Pub is on the left. Crossing this road, the A5, was nigh on impossible on busy days as it took all the traffic from London to Ireland. Dr Bertie Smith used to try to get across by waving his stethoscope out of the car window.
