The built-in WYSYWYG Editor provides added formatting capabilities
to your layout. This guide provides a basic overview of each function,
and how it works.
Save, Preview, Styles, Find, and Spell Check
Save - Saves the current layout in the main view box. Although functional,
you are better to use the "Save Changes" button located at
the top and bottom of each application.
Preview - Preview the contents in a separate window. Use the "Preview" button
at the top of the form for a more accurate view.
Full Screen - Expands your workspace to fit the entire browser window.
Click again to get back to the Item Description view.
Find - Use this button to find a keyword or phrase contained in the
main view box.
Spell Check - Not included.
Styles and Formatting - Use this button to format text, paragraph,
and lists, as well as apply custom and css styles.
Advanced Text Formatting
Paragraph - Apply pre-formatted styles such as Paragraph and Header
(1,2,3, etc.).
Font Name - Change text font.
Font Size - Change font size.
Cutting and Pasting
Cut - Cut selected text.
Copy - Copy selected text.
Paste - Paste selected text.
Paste from Word - Paste text selected from a Word document. This
feature eliminates all formatting tags created by Word that may interfere
with your HTML formats.
Undo/Redo
Undo - Undo the last action, including typing, inserting table, inserting
picture, and formatting.
Redo - Redo last action, or last undone action.
Basic Text Formatting
Bold - Set selected text as bold or strong.
Italics - Italicize selected text.
Underline - Underline selected text.
Alignment - Adjust alignment of selected text: left, center, right,
justify.
Paragraph Formatting
Numbering - Apply a numbered list format.
Bullets - Apply a bulleted list format.
Indent - Indent selected text one tab stop.
Outdent - Outdent selected text one tab stop.
Color Formatting
Foreground Color - Apply color to selected text.
Background Color - Apply background color to main background, table,
or cell.
